Amherst, MA – The family of David M. Lashway, 71, sadly announces his passing on October 1, 2025 .
He fought a long and courageous battle against cancer until the very end.
David was born on September 24, 1954 to the late Donald and Helen (Ryznic) Lashway.
David worked at UMASS and spent many years working in the blacktop business with his brothers.
He will be missed by his brothers Donnie, Peter (Linda), Chris and John, his sisters Kathy (Ernie), and Teri.
He also leaves his daughter Angie and his grandchildren Lauren and Sam along with many nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by his brother Jim.
Calling hours will be held for David on October 14, 2025, from 5pm – 7pm, at the DOUGLASS FUNERAL SERVICE,
