As a life long Ward 4 resident and 12-year former Ward 4 School Committee member, it is with great enthusiasm that I endorse Megan Wolf as the right choice for Ward 4 School Committee. Megan gets it. She knows that the children of Northampton must come first and that will be reflected in her decision making. City government does not need to be “political” as Megan’s past experience on other city committees demonstrates. We served together on the capital improvements committee. I remember how impressed I was with her ability to listen as city leaders made their requests for capital projects. Her questions to city leaders were clearly asked and respectful. I am certain that Megan is ready and able to represent Ward 4 and to conduct the business of School Committee. She knows her role, that the committee operates as one body, and not as a group of individual voices. Megan will dutifully fulfill her role as a School Committee member to hire and evaluate the superintendent, to set policy, and to vote the budget. Please join me and many others who will be voting for and “writing-in” Megan Wolf for Ward 4 School Committee.
