Goshen, MA – Colleen K. Wilcox-Mayer, 63, of Goshen, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 12, 2025, with her loving family by her side at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was born in Northampton to the late Norman and June (Mattis) Wilcox, on June 4, 1962.
She was a graduate of Smith Vocational High School and later went on to work for the Goshen Post Office for many years. She had a fascination and love for coloring books, often spending hours creating intricate designs, and was a die-hard Red Sox fan who never missed a game on TV.
She is survived by her husband, Jonathan C. Mayer of Goshen, her children, Josh Magdalenski and his wife Alyssa of Three Rivers, her daughters, Tara Traska and her husband Greg of Westfield, and Madeline Mayer of Northampton, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, her brother, David Wilcox of Plainfield, MA and Georgia, her sisters, Pat Beckwith of Plainfield, June Lynds of Plainfield, and Gail Wilcox of Brattleboro, VT, several nieces, nephews and dear friends and her love bug Kitty, Tavy.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Butch and Doug Wilcox.
Calling hours will be Sunday October 19, 2025, from 11AM – 1PM at DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME, 120 DAMON RD., NORTHAMPTON. A prayer service will begin at 1 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
