I am voting enthusiastically for Gina-Louise Sciarra to continue as our mayor. I recently saw a comment from someone who described her as “authentic.” I agree. Go to one of her campaign events that include city clean-ups-and she isn’t there for a quick photo shoot. She pitches in and stays until the work is over.
Gina-Louise Sciarra listens to concerns of residents in respectful conversations and provides knowledgeable answers. She has earned the respect of elected officials across the state while governing at a time when Proposition 2-1/2 limitations, massive decreases of state funding to cities and towns and soaring medical insurance costs are putting huge stressors on Northampton. The federal government is in chaos and we cannot rely on any promised funding from that source.
Right now we need a leader who understands the needs of the city and has the experience to find solutions. Gina Louise Sciarra is the best choice in these difficult times. Please join me in voting for her Nov. 4.
