My late husband was a teacher for many years in the Northampton schools and I heard from him every day about the struggles, challenges, and successes of his life in the
classroom, and of his students. It is not a job for the faint of heart!
That’s one of the many reasons I encourage you to vote for Robbie Saner Sullivan for
School Committee at large in the upcoming November election. I have known and worked
with Robbie in her role as a caregiver for many years. She is calm and compassionate
and willing to listen to all sides in her decision making. She will always be focused on
the best interests of all the stakeholders in the success of our schools: children,
caregivers, teachers, administrators, and staff.
Robbie knows what it will take to get a consensus on moving forward on the
School Committee, instead of the unproductive divisiveness we are currently seeing,
which does not help anyone. Please join me in voting for positive change on Nov.
