Southampton, MA – Patricia (Pat) Ann Hoynoski, (Formerly Mrs. Eugene W. Rup) passed away on October 16th, 2025. She was born on May 15th, 1941, in Northampton to the late Rupert W. and Virginia (Royce) Harubin of Hatfield. Pat was sister to the late Richard J. Harubin of Chesapeake VA.
Pat graduated from Smith Academy in 1958, worked as a legal secretary, and then as a medical receptionist for Amherst Medical- Kaiser Permanente for over 20 years until her retirement in 1995. She was the wife of the late Eugene "Jim" Rup of Whately MA, until his passing in 1994. She remarried several years later to the late Alfred J. Hoynoski who passed away in 2013.
She is survived by daughter Christie (Rup) Rockey of Boca Raton FL (and her son Brett Rockey) and grandson Bradley Rockey of San Diego CA, her son Jeffrey Rup and his wife Alice of Holly Springs NC with their children Roman Rup, and Eve Rup, her Uncle Walter Harubin of Whately and several cousins' nieces and nephews.
