Northampton, MA – Carolyn A. (Kirejczyk) Booth, 83, of Northampton passed away at her home surrounded by loving family on December 8, 2025. Carol was born and raised in Northampton and Hatfield and was a graduate of Northampton High School. In 1960, Carol married the love of her life, Ernest (Ernie) Booth. Married for over 65 years, they raised a loving family while they worked side-by-side for 50 years as co-owners of Ernie’s Texaco Garage in Northampton.
Carol was predeceased by her parents (Joseph and Katherine Kirejczyk), daughter Donna (Booth) Snyder, four brothers (Joseph, Robert, Eugene, and Donald Kirejczyk), one sister (Arlene Kireczyk Hebert), both sons-in-law (Gary Kissel and Jamie Snyder) and several sisters- and brothers-in law. Carol was also an animal lover and was predeceased by numerous cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens and other animals.
Carol will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Ernie and daughter Carrie (Booth) Kissel, grandchildren: Chloe (Snyder) and husband Brian Finn, Hunter (Snyder) and wife Ashley Kane, and Kendall Kissel as well as great grandchildren: Madeline, Will and Sylvie Donna. Carol is survived by her sister Dorothy (Kirejczyk) and husband Bill Pharmer and several sisters- and brother-in laws.
Calling hours will be at Czelusniak Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 3:00- 5:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Annunciation Church in Florence, immediately followed by the burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Northampton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Northampton High School to the Donna Booth Snyder Memorial Fund (Attention: David Proulx).
