HATFIELD — Residents considering running for elective office at the annual town election in May can pick up nomination forms at the town clerk’s office at Memorial Town Hall beginning Feb. 2.
Positions that will be on the ballot for the May 19 town election include a three-year position on the Select Board held by Gregory Gagnon; two, three-year positions on the School Committee held by Rebecca Bench and Christy Boudreau; and a five-year position on the Planning Board held by Douglas Finn.
Other positions and their incumbents are Board of Assessors for three years, James Lavallee; Board of Health for three years, Timothy Menz; Cemetery Commission for three years, Jonathan Bardwell; elector under the Oliver Smith Will for one year, Alaina Wilcox; Housing Authority for five years, Alex Malinowski; Library trustee for three years, Marsha Humphrey; and town clerk for three years, Alaina Wilcox.
The town clerk’s office is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and by appointment. The last day to submit nomination papers is March 31 and the last day for residents to register to vote is May 1.
