There has been a conspicuous absence of opinions from our local Republican leaders regarding the shocking events in our country. Yes we’ve heard some concern about Picture Main Street( sigh), though only crickets regarding our descent into fascism. One can therefore assume tacit support for the policies being unleashed that are similar to Nazi Germany. “First they came for the immigrants.” We have now moved past that point. Next, peacefully protesting is grounds for arrest, pepper spray and bullets are fully justified. Any voiced outrage over the gutting of our once laudable research institutions, and the dismantling of the CDC and scientific expertise? Animal fats are cool right? Coal is so beautiful and really, being in favor of environmental protection is just so woke. Let’s cede all our expertise to China and just grab stuff that we want because we are such strong and feral men. I won’t even get into the feigned horror over our past deficits (under Democratic presidents), and absolute silence now. Shame on you all.
