Northampton, MA – Kathleen Mary Norton Suchocki was born in Springfield on September 12, 1936 and passed on to eternal life on January 19th, 2026. She was the daughter of Josephine Ginalski and William E. Norton.
She is survived by her daughter Deena Wallace & son-in-law J. Derby Wallace of Cape Cod, a son Michael Suchocki of California, two beloved and adored granddaughters, Laurel Stirling Morley, son-in-law Jake & great granddaughter Mila Joy of Pensacola, FL and Madison Marie Wallace of Cape Cod, a close niece/god-daughter Janet Gralinski of Northampton, great nephew David Gralinski of Hadley and beloved family friend Melissa Evans of Arkansas.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Richard P. Suchocki, a daughter, Shari-lyn Ann Suchocki, a great niece/god-daughter Kate-Lyn Gralinski and a sister Colleen Norton Luis as well as her parents William and Josephine Norton.
Kathleen’s viewing will be held on Thursday January 22 from 10am-12pm at Czelusniak Funeral Home where there will be an In-House Service at 12pm immediately following the wake at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathie’s honor can be made to the Dakin Animal Shelter, at 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105 or the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Capital Campaign Goal, 85 Beacon Street, Florence, MA 01062. Kathie requested one gardenia be placed on her casket and strongly requested that no other flowers be given.
