I would like to thank my neighbor publicly by name, but, judging from her quiet and humbIe nature, I suspect she might be embarrassed by publicity.  So I will keep her anonymous as I report that, after clearing her own driveway, she used her snowthrower to remove the foot of snow from our driveway. Perhaps she is aware that I am nearly an octogenarian with a history of heart disease and significant back issues, so I am very appreciative that she helps me every time there is a significant snowfall.

But most recently she kept going, plowing at least four other driveways on our street. And I just saw her at the house across the street (where no one has been home for a couple of days), hand-shoveling the front and side walkways and around the trash cans.  What a wonderful neighbor! I will go to Ren’s and purchase a gift card to help her replenish her gas. (I just hope she will accept it.)
