As a Chesterfield resident and school adjustment counselor in the Hampshire Regional School District, I am truly heartbroken by the fact that rising private health insurance premiums are forcing cuts in school budgets at a time when our kids need more, not less. This a crisis that could be so readily avoided if we had Medicare for All — single payer health care in our state. Please reach out to your state legislators to advocate for the passage of the bill, “An Act Establishing Medicare for All in Massachusetts.”
