Amherst, Springfield, MA – Robert L. Kent, Jr., 91 (June 24, 1934 – February 13, 2026), formerly of Amherst, MA, and of Suffield, CT, beloved husband of Dorothy Kent for 64 years, passed peacefully.
Bob was a tenured professor of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning at UMASS in Amherst, MA for 35 years. Bob co-founded SCAPE, Unlimited and Kent Design Inc. (KDI) in Springfield, working on residential and commercial projects.
