Crawford of Haydenville shared this photo. “My friend, Deena Sarvet, made this wonderful cake for my birthday. This is what she says about it: ‘Claudia Roden’s moist and dense orange and almond cake is flourless and incorporates whole boiled oranges for flavor. The recipe originated in her 1968 cookbook, A Book of Middle Eastern Food.'”
