Northampton/Easthampton, MA – Lawrence George Paquette of Northampton & Easthampton, 96, died Feb. 10, 2026. Born Oct. 6, 1929. Nashua, NH, son of Lawrence & Rose Paquette, Hancock, NH. He attended Hancock Schools and attended Dairy College, Randolph, VT. Married to Geraldine C. Hickey of Northampton, MA for 73 yrs. predeceased in 2022. He had 7 children. Sandra Paquette of Greenfield, MA, Karen and Dan Steller of Clive, IA, Paul Paquette of Chicopee, MA, Steven Paquette & wife Lisa of Moneta, VA, Lisa & late Jonathan Krach of Rangeley, ME, David Paquette and Susan Paquette (Ceorgoveanu) who are predeceased. He enjoyed his 27 grandchildren and 5 great grand children scattered around the country. Larry owned, for over 60 years, "Larry Paquette's Home Improvements" in Northampton area, he could often be seen driving his big red & white van with a cigar hanging in his mouth. He enjoyed taking care their beautiful yard and gardens that rivaled a city park. Winning at cards was an activity he loved with family and friends. Are was exceedingly generous always ready to help out a neighbor or someone in need. He spent a summer digging out his cellar by hand at 75, where he spent time repairing & building projects daily. There are no calling hours and a celebration of life will follow in early June. In lieu of flowers a donation for the Hospice Nurse Association of the Pioneer Valley
