NORTHAMPTON/EASTHAMPTON — Interstate 91’s northbound lane is back up and running after a lane closure for emergency fixes on Tuesday morning.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the closure was implemented at approximately 7 a.m. Tuesday after a hole developed in a bridge deck, which required immediate repairs.

The fixes reduced traffic to a single lane, which was reopened in the early afternoon before the 5 p.m. rush hour.
