On Tuesday, March 24, the Gazette published an article about the online uproar after Williamsburg Market announced it would temporarily pause operations in solidarity with the No Kings demonstration being held in the town on Saturday March 28. According to the article, some opponents of the closure said that business and politics should never mix. No one blends politics with business as much as Donald Trump and his cronies. At least Williamsburg Market suspended the conduct of its business in pursuit of political goals, whereas Trump exploits the conduct of politics in pursuit of his business goals.
