I am writing to express my strong support for David King for South Hadley Selectboard. At a critical time when our community faces important decisions about growth, infrastructure, and fiscal responsibility, we need steady, thoughtful leadership — and Dave brings exactly that.
Dave is a retired businessman with experience successfully managing large multimillion dollar budgets. He has a deep commitment to South Hadley, having moved here 15 years ago with his wife Susan and two children. He is a Town Meeting member, chair of the Bylaw Review Committee, and volunteer for a variety of nonprofit and community organizations.
He listens carefully, values diverse perspectives, and approaches challenges with a level-headed, practical, solutions-oriented mindset. His business, community, and volunteer background equip him to make informed decisions that balance the needs of our town today with a clear vision for its future.
Dave King is a person of integrity, who understands that good governance starts with trust, a trait he will work hard to earn and maintain. Whether discussing town finances, public services, or community development, he prioritizes transparency and will always be accountable.
South Hadley deserves leaders who are not only capable, but genuinely invested in the well-being of the community. David King has shown that he is ready to serve with dedication and respect for all residents.
