Both my kids are Hampshire College alums and it transformed their lives in powerful ways. Maybe transformed is not the right word — I think it actually enabled them to become more who they truly always were. One found their partner and both found profound friendships that are central parts of their community and lives. Hampshire also gave them the environment and skills to become the artist/professionals they are today. As a mom, and an educator, and a resident of western Massachusetts, I will always be indebted to this beautiful, unique institution that has enriched so many of our lives.
