I’ve been seeing a lot of letters recently in reaction to different guest columns, letters, opinions, the question being: What is the Gazette thinking, publishing this? In my humble opinion, they are trying to honor our First Amendment right to free speech. I wouldn’t want them to decide whether to put my letter in based on their political leanings, or passions, one way or the other. We should not give them the power to decide what information that we are allowed to know.
