PELHAM — Even with 10 positions up for election at the May 12 town election, only three candidate names will appear, and none in contested elections.
As has been customary in recent years, most positions will be filled by write-ins at the election, with polls open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ramsdell Room at the Community Center, 2 South Valley Road.
The candidates, all of whom are incumbents, are Tara Loomis of Gulf Road, seeking a three-year term on the Select Board, Sarahbess B. Kenney of Meeting House Road, seeking a three-year term on the School Committee and William Simon Collins, seeking a three-year term on the Board of Assessors.
Other positions up for election include a three-year seat on the Board of Health, two, three-year terms on the library trustees, a three-year term on Cemetery Commission, a five-year term on the Planning Board, a one-year term as auditor and a one-year term as moderator.
