Be heard at Deerfield’s annual Town Meeting

Deerfield residents — especially parents — your voice matters. Annual Town Meeting is Monday, May 11 at 6 p.m. This is where key decisions are made about our town’s budget, schools, and policies that directly shape our community.

Childcare is free for children ages 4 and up, provided by the Out-of-School-Time Program — so you can attend and participate without worry. To register, visit the town of Deerfield website, click “Attention Residents” at the top of the page, then select childcare registration.

This meeting includes votes on elementary and high school budgets, along with several citizen petitions that have lasting impacts on Deerfield. Town Meeting is your opportunity to speak, vote, and influence decisions that affect your family and your future. It’s just one evening but the outcomes affect us for years.

If even one person from every household attends, decisions will reflect the will of the broader community, not just a small fraction. Arrive early to sign in. Be part of the process. Be heard.
