Thanks to the Minutemen baseball team
The annual spring tradition of Amherst Youth Baseball’s Minuteman Day has our youth players welcomed to Lorden Field at UMass for a game and visit onto the field for the pregame huddle and national anthem. The Minutemen baseball players and their coaches, Max Weir and Brandon Shileikis were welcoming and kind to our kids, and out kids were thrilled to be out there with the big boys. The Minutemen ballplayers continue to be an example of what it is to be meaningfully engaged with the community.
