The Western Mass. tournament is closing in and brackets for all spring sports except for boys lacrosse were released on Friday.

Across the baseball, softball, girls lacrosse, boys volleyball and boys & girls tennis brackets, Hampshire County has five No. 1 seeds. Hampshire softball is tops in Class B, Hopkins baseball leads Class D, PVCICS boys tennis is first in Class C, Amherst girls lacrosse holds the highest seed in Class B and Granby boys volleyball is tops in Class C.

Tournament games will begin as early as Saturday, May 16 in girls lacrosse, however most of the action will commence on Monday, May 18.
