Lady Lake, FL – Richard John Niedbala, 87, of Lady Lake, FL, passed away on April 25, 2026, at home.
He was born in 1938, on August 7th, to his parents, Joseph and Victoria (Wojewada) Niedbala. Richard worked from an early age in support of his family. He attended Hadley schools before enlisting in the army. Richard opened Niedbala's Market in 1962, where he was the neighborhood butcher. He was known to help his neighbors in need whenever possible. He also owned and operated a bus company which serviced several school systems in the area. Richard was commander of the American Legion post #271 for many years, and was very active in the Hadley Young men's club.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Bailey) Niedbala; sisters Maryann, Carol, Sandy and Shirley. children; Richard Trott & wife Sharyn, Karen Stellato & husband Bob, Norman Trott and wife Deb, Sandy Boutilier & husband Chuck, David Trott & wife Evelyn (Hatch), Margaret (Bergen) Trott, Michele (Niedbala) Rutherford and husband Seth. He also leaves 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, son; Brian Trott, brothers; Joseph, Herbert (Bilco), Charles, Mark and Thomas. Sisters Lorraine, Nancy and Silvia
