Once again voters will be asked to, by habit, reelect U.S. Rep. Richard Neal. The problem is that Mr. Neal has been almost inert for years. He sits on the status quo centrist position of everything. He never offers anything new. He relies on corporate money more than anyone else in Congress. He repeatedly has put his corporate donors ahead of his constituents.
It is time for Mr. Neal to retire.
