Millie L. Jackson

Millie L. Jackson, 90, of Hadley, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026 surrounded by loving family in her home. Millie was a loving, kind, and caring person to all who knew her. Millie was devout and a parishioner of Saint John's and The Most Holy Redeemer Catholic churches in Hadley where she sung in the choir. Traveling the Northeast with her husband Jim, Millie loved setting up at antique shows. For seventeen years, Millie was co-owner of Jackson's Flea Market in Hadley. Known as an accomplished baker Millie would bake and then deliver baked goods to the vendors at the flea market. Millie was famous for her delicious apple, strawberry, and grasshopper pies. Millie was employed full time at the University of Massachusetts as a cashier in the dining commons until she retired. She is predeceased by her parents, Jim Fahey and Bertha (Wedge) Fahey of Lowell, MA, her brother Jim Fahey, and her stepdaughters, Sandra Drake of Shutesbury and Deborah (Deb) Brown of Sunderland. Millie is survived by her loving husband of fifty years James Jackson of Hadley, stepdaughter Theresa Fleurent (Rick) of Hadley, stepson James Jackson, Jr. (Joanne) of Hadley, and numerous loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Most Holy Redeemer Church, 120 Russell Street, Hadley, MA, Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 10 am followed by the Rite of Committal at Saint Brigid's Cemetery, 85 North Maple St., Hadley, MA.
