New Bern, NC – James "Jim" Forrest Pease, 83, of New Bern, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Jim was born on January 21, 1943, to the late Raymond Forrest and Bertha Lois Ellis Pease.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Cathy (Tilbe), daughters Betsy Schabacker (Don) of Southampton, Laura Padilla (Marcell) of Madison, AL, Cindy Kinder of Georgetown, SC, two granddaughters Catie Padilla of Spring Mills, PA and Maggie Padilla of Rochester, NY, and sisters Bunny Huntley (David) and Kris Canton (Kevin) both of Southampton, along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life on July 11, 2026, at Southampton Congregational Church at 212 College Highway at 1:30pm.
