Sometimes it seems that there are no longer real people at the other end of the phone, push this, choose that, leave your message. Well, I have a nice story. My heat pump failed at the beginning of the recent heat advisory weather. I have enjoyed the air conditioning for several years and as a senior with asthma it really makes a difference. I made a call to O’Connell Oil Associates on Texas Road in Northampton. The phone was answered by a friendly lady who immediately put my call through to Josh in charge of heat pumps. He sent someone out as soon as possible, of course this happened just as the weekend was starting, but on Tuesday I found out rodents had chewed through the wires in the heat pump. Josh called to ask how I was doing and told me the part needed would not be available till after the Fourth of July weekend. However he had spoken to a heat pump rep and they thought the wires might be fixed by splicing. The next morning Andy and Aidan arrived and within 15 minutes the problem was fixed. Real people not just doing their jobs but caring. Thank you, Josh, Andy and Aidan and the lovely ladies answering the phone.
