Easthampton, MA – Donald L. Cykowski, Sr., 88, a lifelong resident of Easthampton, passed away on June 27, 2026, in the home he built.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Weidhaas) Cykowski. Donald graduated from Easthampton High School and continued his education in carpentry at Smith Vocational School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for two years in France.
Donald worked for many years at Phillips Manufacturing and later at National Felt. He was deeply committed to his community, serving on the Easthampton City Council and the Easthampton Library Board. An outdoorsman at heart, he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Paula (Usaforest), and their children: Donald Jr., Kim, and Lori.
As he requested, services were private. Arrangements were entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.
