Just as I predicted, when I saw it. The Gazette’s July 23 political cartoon was one of maybe three or four (in an entire year ) of political cartoons critiquing the left. Yet the liberal mindset cannot allow even the slightest of critiquing, criticism or self-reflection. The tolerant and highly intelligent left, cannot fathom or accept that there could “possibly be” (any) correct opposing opinions.
Therefore, the Gazette is immediately accused of fostering and amplifying lies. Two separate opinion pieces berated the paper. The writers’ belief is of course that “free speech” is only allowed for (their) truths, and how dare the Gazette allow this breach on our democracy! My only surprise is that this time I did not read of a threat by the writers to cancel their subscriptions.
It’s truly a shame that the Happy Valley’s liberal echo chamber has actually fostered intolerance, political immaturity and thin-skinned people!
