The Northampton Country Club held its Don O’Brien Two-Ball tournament over the weekend and five pairs of golfers finished in first place across three divisions of competition.

Northampton Parks & Rec
Northampton Parks & Recreation is offering late summer pickleball clinics at the Ellerbrook Pickleball courts. The clinics will take place on Monday evenings, beginning on August 3 and running for four weeks through August 24.
Each week’s instruction will focus on a different set of pickleball skills. The first clinic will focus on dinking with purpose & patience; the second clinic will focus on defending the speedup & when to attack; the third clinic will focus on kitchen line footwork & positioning; and the fourth clinic will focus on Defending Lobs & Executing Overheads. You can register for one, multiple or all four clinics.
The clinics are led by Matthew Smith, a Level One Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Coach. Clinics will be a maximum of 6 participants for focused and personalized instruction.
