Easthampton, MA – Lynn Frances Parda of Easthampton passed away July 3, 2026. Lynn played basketball while attending St. Michael’s High School in Northampton and coached the girls’ basketball teams after she graduated. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from UMass. Lynn worked many years at the Florence Savings Bank, and volunteered at the Taste of Northampton. Lynn was employed by Riverside Industries as a van driver. She was a dedicated Leader for the Girl Scouts of America. As an avid traveler, she visited many European countries as well as Alaska, Arizona, and Disney World in Florida with her close friend, Jill. Lynn loved being part of a large family and traveled to California to celebrate holidays with her sisters who lived there.
Lynn leaves behind her sisters Ellen Parda, Dale Dionne, Sharon Parda and Pat Foley. She also leaves nieces and a nephew, and great nephews and great-great nephews and nieces. Lynn was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Peg Parda, her beloved Aunt Theresa, and nephews Chris and Brian.
Calling hours at Czelusniak Funeral Home in Northampton are on Monday, August 17th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral mass is on August 18th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Easthampton followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, Lynn’s sisters suggest a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or ASPCA.
