Woodstock, CT – Joyce C. Suleski, 63, of Paine District Rd., died Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Fayetteville, WV. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of June (Pipczynski) Suleski of Woodstock and the late John R. Suleski.
Ms. Suleski worked as an insurance agent for many local insurance companies.
In her youth Joyce enjoyed playing soccer and coed Softball, later in life she enjoyed singing and spending time at the beach while visiting her family’s cottage in Wickford, RI.
Joyce hosted a talk show in the North Haven area, The Joyce Suleski Show, which was North Haven’s longest run talk show on NHTV Cable 18. In 1996 her show won the TCI CAP Award for Documentary Public Awareness for her show, Rachael’s Kitchen and Innovation award for The Joyce Suleski Show: Robert Ratner, in 1997 she was awarded top talk show at The TCI CAP awards for her show, Up With People as well as the Programming for Yough award for her show titled, A Visit to Ridge Road School, in 1998 TCI CAP awarded her in the category of Informational for her program, On The Road to Animal Haven, and in 1999 TCI CAP award winner in the category of Arts Programming for her program titled Dawne Fritz, Decorative Artist. The Town of North Haven, by his Honor Anthony P. Rescigno, named July 15, 1994, the Joyce C. Suleski Day.
She is survived by her mother, June Suleski of Woodstock; her sister, Melanie Bonacorsi and her husband Joe of Chichester, NH; her brother in law, Richard Jette of Woodstock; her nieces and nephews, Derek Jette of Woodstock, Jessica Hill of Washington, NH, Cassandra Bonacorsi and Alexandra Bonacorsi both of Chichester, NH and her great nephews, Davis Jette of Woodstock and Bowen Hill of Washington, NH. She was predeceased by her brother, John “Johnny” R. Suleski, Jr. and his sister, Anne-Marie Jette.
