Easthampton, MA – Paul Donais, 81, of Easthampton, MA, passed away at home on August 14, 2026. He was born in Holyoke, MA, on August 26, 1944, to the late Dr. Henry E. and Roma I. Donais.
Paul was predeceased by his brother, Henry E. Donais Jr. He is survived by his sister, Harriet E. Tatro; his niece, Harriet A. DeVerry; his nephew, John H. Tatro; and his grandnephew, Devin S. DeVerry.
Paul was a dedicated member of the Easthampton community. He was a constant supporter of the Williston Northampton School, where he regularly volunteered with the athletic department and assisted the girls’ soccer and softball coaches and teams. He also volunteered his time maintaining the Easthampton section of the Rail Trail by distributing trail maps for local residents. He was known by his neighbors as a friendly, helpful presence always ready to offer assistance.
Memorial and burial services will be private for the immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to honor Paul’s memory may be made to the Williston Northampton School. Mitchell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
