Northampton, MA – Jeffrey was born on August 27, 1939 in Houlton, Maine, the son of Evelyn (Maxwell) Bubar and Henry Bubar.
He graduated from Houlton, Maine High School in 1957, and from the now closed Ricker College in 1961.
He worked most of his adult life as a plastics injection molder for Pro Corporation- PMC, retiring in 2006.
He was an avid fan of classical music, and an avid photographer, was a member of the former Northampton Photo Club, and was a member of the Photographic Society of America, where he served as a volunteer travel aid. He photographed extensively the Three County Fair, and produced several videos using his photographs, and incorporated them with historic fair photos he acquired. These videos were done for the Three County Fair Association, and will be given to Historic Northampton.
He was a long-time member of the First Churches of Northampton, where he served as a deacon and a member of the church’s Board of Trustees, and helped oversee the restoration of the building and its famous Skinner organ. He was also a long-time member of the choir, and loved sacred and organ music.
He is survived by several cousins.
Following cremation, burial will be in the Bridge Street Cemetery on Thursday October 1 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Churches Memorial Organ Fund.
