Ware, MA – Terence Ernest Cote passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Son of Ernest Cote and Julia Marshall Cote, he was born February 17, 1946 in Dagenham, Essex, England. Terry was a US army veteran of the Vietnam war. His career as a master carpenter included 35 years with Western Builders. A resident of Ware, MA Terry is survived by family and many close friends; such as his girlfriend Doreen Hagerty, his daughter Sarah Masure (husband Chris), his grandchildren Wesley and Emma, his sisters Linda Quinlan (husband Tom), and Valerie McQuillan (husband Don). Also his nieces and nephews Darren McQuillan, Dawn McQuillan Ackley, Holly Quinlan Rubner, and Patrick Quinlan.
Terry will be remembered for his willingness to help others, the love he shared with those around him, and his love for animals. He will be deeply missed. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family, who wish to thank the doctors and staff at Wing Memorial Hospital for their extraordinary care and support.
