There is a choice for State House representative in the 4th Hampden District. Colby Hoffman is running to represent Southampton and Westfield. Check out Colby’s website here: colbyhoffman.org. Colby is concerned about affordability for families and about protecting our communities from big data centers. Our current representative, Kelly Pease, has supported tax breaks to bring data centers to Westfield. Take a minute to look up Pease’s voting record on environmental, economic and social justice issues. I was disappointed to find that not only doesn’t his record align with many bills passed in the state Legislature, but his views don’t align with the world I would like to live in where we all have value, and we have an interest in taking care of each other and the planet. We need candidates that will listen to their constituents and work for a kinder, safer, cleaner world. It’s time for a change. Vote for Colby Hoffman.
