The Amherst College women’s basketball team completed a perfect regular season with a 67-21 win over Hamilton on Saturday at LeFrak Gymnasium.
Emma McCarthy had 14 points and 11 rebounds in a double-double.
Ali Doswell scored 11 points, and Madeline Eck had 10 off the bench.
Granby’s Meghan Sullivan added six points and four rebounds in her second straight start.
No. 1 Amherst (24-0, 10-0 NESCAC) is the NESCAC regular season champion.
The conference tournament starts next weekend.
Fordham 74, UMass 43 — Ryan Holder scored 15 points, and Maggie Mulligan added 10 in a road loss Saturday.
The Minutewomen (9-17, 3-10 A10) only shot 36.2 percent from the field.
Smith 61, Wheaton 49 — Kennedy Guest-Pritchett totaled 23 points and 14 rebounds with four steals in a home win Saturday.
Lauren Bondi added nine points and led the Pioneers (16-7, 8-6 NEWMAC) with four assists.
MIT 68, Mount Holyoke 30 — Xajaah Williams-Flores had a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds) in the Lyons’ 19th straight loss Saturday.
Amherst 86, Hamilton 75 — Jayde Dawson scored 30 points and helped Amherst end the regular season with a win Saturday.
Michael Riopel added 18 points, while Johnny McCarthy had 13 points and 10 rebounds in a double-double.
David George had 10 points and Reid Berman led Amherst (17-6, 7-3 NESCAC) with four assists.
UMass Lowell 4, UMass 2 — Niko Hildenbrand and Jack Suter scored in a road loss Saturday.
Ray Pigozzi, Steen Iacobellis, Callum Fryer and Joseph Widmar added assists.
Alex Wakaluk made 35 saves for the Minutemen (5-23-2, 2-15-1 Hockey East).
Amherst 2, Connecticut College 1 — Max Roche scored the game winner in the third period from A.J. Klein and Joey Lupo on Saturday.
Patrick Daly found the net in the first period assisted by Thomas Lindstrom and David White.
Connor Girard made 22 saves for Amherst (12-6-3, 7-6-3 NESCAC).
Hamilton 1, Amherst 0 — Bailey Plaman made 19 saves in a road loss Saturday for Amherst (11-7-4, 5-5-4 NESCAC).
Army 9, UMass 2 — Gianni Bianchin and Dan Muller scored for the Minutemen in a season-opening home loss Saturday.
Jeff Trainor assisted Bianchin’s goal.
Army jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first half before UMass (0-1) scored.
D.J. Smith made 12 saves for UMass.
