Maggie Mulligan scored 33 points on 14 of 18 shooting, and the UMass women’s basketball team beat Central Connecticut State 76-37 on Wednesday at the Mullins Center.
The junior also added 12 rebounds, five blocks and three steals in her 35 minutes.
She was one of five Minutewomen to play at least 33 minutes in the game. UMass (3-2) only played seven players.
Hailey Leidel added 16 points and seven assists while playing 39 minutes, and Ryan Holder scored 15 points with six rebounds.
Leah McDerment led the team with nine assists.
UMass outscored the Blue Devils 24-4 in the first quarter. The 37 points the Minutewomen allowed was a season-low.
UMass held CCSU (1-3) to 22.2 percent shooting in the game and forced 25 turnovers.
The Minutewomen have won two games in a row and host Merrimack on Sunday.
