Officers recognized Sherri Sulewski, 51, of 81 Conz St. Apt. 403 walking on Conz Street Sunday at 3:35 p.m. because she had six active arrest warrants, police said. As an officer approached her, she allegedly hid behind a bush and a sign on Fulton Avenue before being arrested. The warrants included larceny over $250 from a disabled person over 60, larceny over $250, larceny over $250 by single scheme, forgery of check, uttering false check and several for drug possession.
Beth A. Cayo, 39, of 17 N. Maple St. APt. 10, was arrested Sunday at 2:18 a.m. after police allegedly received report of a woman yelling and screaming at Florence Inn Rooming House. When police approached her, she allegedly had scissors in her hand. Police said she struck an officer with her first when they tried to gain control of her. Cayo was charged with assault and battery on a police officer.
Michael Kevin Kras, 33, of West Springfield, was arrested at 12:51 a.m. Saturday after police received report of the man allegedly flipping tables and kicking cars at JJ’s Tavern, 99 Main St, After allegedly leaving the scene, Kras was stopped and arrested on I-91 south on charges of operating under the influence of liquor (2nd offense) and malicious damage to motor vehicle.
Gabrielle A. Nardacci, 23, of Westfield was arrested around 3:49 p.m. Friday at the Shell Station on Pleasant Street for an existing warrant, police said.
Erica Lynn Wilson, 22, of West Springfield was arrested around 2 a.m. Saturday after police said they saw her traveling south on State Street while closely following another vehicle without her headlights on. She also had a flat tire, according to police. After a field sobriety test indicated she was impaired, police said they arrested her and charged her with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation.
