NORTHAMPTON — An Easthampton woman was arraigned in Northampton District Court Wednesday on the charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, after allegedly throwing hot coffee at a nurse at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Ivy Borden, 57, was released with no bail and is scheduled to appear in court for a pre-trial conference on July 11.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on May 11, and the nurse reported that her shoulder was blistering from the alleged attack.
