The Red Sox 2018 World Series Champions trophy made a three-hour visit to Easthampton High School on Saturday. According to a press release from Mayor Nicole LaChapelle’s office, the trophy was brought in to help celebrate several academic and athletic championships in the city in the 2018-2019 season. These include Easthampton High School’s back-to-back “We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution” state championships, the Eagles’ repeat in the Western Massachusetts Div. 3A hockey championship as well as league championships in soccer, basketball and softball.
