Devin Kellogg clinched the single-season home-run record for the Northampton baseball team in a 10-2 win over Holyoke on Monday.

The home win also clinched a return to the postseason for the Blue Devils.

Kellogg hit long ball No. 4 to deep left-center field with a runner on in the first inning. For good measure he added a two-run single later in the game.

Will O’Connor (two RBIs) and R.J. Safron also had two hits for Hamp (10-2, 7-1 Valley Wheel).

Andy Grygorcewicz earned the win as two double plays helped him work around four hits and five walks. He struck out three for his third victory.

Granby 9, Hampshire Regional 6 — The Rams did their damage early and withstood a Raider rally late.

Joe Bessette led Granby (9-3) with three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored, while Tom Rezzani added two hits and drove in two. Noah Bleakley struck out nine in the win.

Max Weir had two hits and three RBIs for Hampshire (4-7).

Ryan York singled in the fifth, but was caught stealing for Smith Voke, which finished with two hits in the loss.

Smith Academy 14, Easthampton 2 — John Ferrara struck out five, while allowing a run on two hits and a walk in four innings and helped himself with three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored for the Falcons, who rolled on the road.

Nathan Morris (RBI) and Dawson Wolcott each had a hit for the Eagles (1-10, 0-5).

Seth Bella-Hunter went five innings with nine strikeouts and three earned runs for Amherst (3-9).

Trevor Edwards provided Amherst with its lone run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Also for Amherst, Jake Balderston was 1-for 2 with a walk.

Steve McCudden pitched two innings of scoreless relief for Amherst.

Turners Falls 7, Frontier Regional 1 — The Red Hawks ran into a quality pitching performance from the Indians’ Quinn Doyle in the home loss.

The Red Hawks managed only four hits. Bruce Jordan’s sacrifice fly accounted for the lone Frontier run in the fifth.

Dylan Appanelle went six innings for the Red Hawks (8-3, 3-1 Hampshire West), giving up six runs and striking out five.

Ware 8, Gateway Regional 1 — Brett Bonenfant had a hit, a walk and drove in the only run for the Gators (2-10).

Josh Webster had the other Gateway hit and scored the lone run.

Hopkins Academy 6, Belchertown 2 — Noah Scanlon-Dean pitched an efficient seven innings on 86 pitches and picked up the road win for the Golden Hawks (4-6).

Scanlon-Dean (two strikeouts) pitched to contact, letting his defense make plays behind him.

Jon Morrison (two runs scored) reached base four times with two walks and two hits.

Trevor Fil had three walks and an RBI double.

Tanner Clark had an RBI single and a walk for the Orioles (4-6).

South Hadley 16, Greenfield 13 — The Tigers pitching finally allowed some hits, but their bats provided plenty as well.
