SUMMERTIME BLUES

Same Old Blues — Dennis Shapson on guitar, Alan Kurtz on washboard and bones, and Phil Craft on harmonica — will perform Saturday at the Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum at 130 River Drive in Hadley.

The show is part of the museum’s annual “A Perfect Spot of Tea” series: Enjoy pastries and Earl Grey tea, along with the group’s reinterpretations of songs from the 1920s and 1930s by Blind Blake, Blind Boy Fuller and Mississippi John Hurt. Boston’s Blue Ribbons and local artist Izy Coffey kick off this year’s Northampton Summer Concert Series Friday at 6 p.m. on the Hampshire County Courthouse lawn. (Moves to the WWII Club on Conz Street if it rains.) Free.
