Two players collected hat tricks, as the South Hadley girls lacrosse team topped Amherst 16-15 on Friday in the Tigers season opener.
Lola Londraville and Avery LeClair had three goals each.
Gabi Moroney (assist), Ella Marion, Erica Anderson (assist) and Abigail Hartley put away two goals each. Megan Carey (assist) and Jaidan Luis each found the net once.
Alyson Cote made 14 saves for South Hadley.
Esme Siegel, Emily Ireland and Jill Crosby (assist) each had a hat trick for Amherst. Caitlin MacDougall and Talia Sadiq scored twice each, while Francesca Sloan and April Schilling had a goal each.
Amherst goalie Cedar Conrad stopped seven shots.
Granby 18, Monson 0 – Ella Laliberte put away six goals with an assist in a home win. Gabrielle Walz added four goals and an assist. Arianna Klekotka, Kelly Lynne Kennedy (assist) and Abby Landry found the net twice Each. Justice Delaney (assist) and Ava-Elizabeth Lougman added a goal each.
Liberty Conlin made three saves in a shutout.
Longmeadow 21, Northampton 1 – Sofia Ciaglo scored the Blue Devils lone goal at home.
Hopkins Academy 18, McCann Tech 0 (5) – Isabelle Palmisano drove in four runs on four singles for the Golden Hawks on the road. Taylor Berri had four RBIs with a double and a triple. Jessica Markowski went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Kaelyn Zaikitis only allowed one hit in five innings of work and struck out eight for Hopkins.
Chicopee 11, Northampton 3 – Ella Pelis singled twice for the Blue Devils in a home loss. Ava Azarro tripled, and Kaliya Valentin doubled. Valentin struck out 15 from the circle.
Ludlow 18, South Hadley 4 (6) — Maddi Rainaiud drove in a run, and Jenna Bobrowski scored two runs for the Tigers on Thursday.
Molly Goshea doubled, while Ange Bessone singled.
Amherst 13, Westfield 12 (OT) — Jonathan Hanscom scored an overtime winner for the Hurricanes on Thursday, his fifth tally of the game. Liam Johnson stopped five shots.
Amherst was down five goals in the third quarter but rallied to tie the game with less than two minutes remaining.
