HELEN BELLUNDUNO
Bellingham, MA – Helen Rita Bellunduno, born Feb 6th, 1927, in
Northampton, MA, and having attended school in Easthampton, MA,
eventually graduating from High School and residing there until moving
to Bellingham, MA in 2016 to live with her family, passed away on
September 12th, 2025, at age 98.75. (she insisted we be accurate, as
99 was very close by indeed!)
Helen has 3 grandchildren, Gavin, Kiera, and Josh Bellunduno, and her
son, Donald Bellunduno, who she lived with up until a short time
before she passed on. She was widowed by her husband Dominic
Bellunduno, who died at age 94 during Covid 19, next to whom she will
be interred.
Earlier in life, Helen was the shipping Manager for the Advertising
Corporation of America first in Easthampton, MA, and then later in
Holyoke, MA, eventually semi-retiring from their employ in 1990 and
then working part-time for the family business until full retirement
in 2016.
Helen “Mom” Bellunduno was a caregiver. She took care of many people
in the family during her life, and also some who were not direct
family members. She cared deeply for others, and always tried to help.
She loved animals, and had many during her life, and also enjoyed her
flower beds. Helen was also the consummate worker, loving every moment
she spent in that endeavor. She immensely enjoyed her family,
particularly her grandchildren whom she adored without end.
She will be remembered as someone who cared for others until her final
breathe, and who was loved deeply by those who knew her.
Calling Hours will be held on Saturday September 20th from 6pm -8pm at
the Czelusniak Funeral Home, 173 North Street Northampton. A Graveside
service will be held on Saturday September 27th at 12pm at St. Mary’s
