The annual Red Fire Farm Tomato Festival is Aug. 26 and 27 at 7 Carver Road, Granby.
The main events take place Aug. 26, from noon to 6 p.m., with tastings of over 20 varieties of tomatoes, hay rides, cooking and canning demonstrations, live music, children’s activities, a multi-course themed meal and more. The menu for the dinner is available online at http://www.redfirefarm.com/event/tomato-fest-dinner/ where tickets must be pre-ordered.
Guests will also be able to pick their own tomatoes, fresh flowers, herbs, cherries, hot peppers and more.
Admission is $5, children under 8, free.
Sunday’s events are free and feature cherry tomato tasting and pick-your-own produce all day.
