Three players scored as the Belchertown hockey team edged Easthampton, 3-2, Saturday at the Mullins Center Practice Rink.

Chris Buffone, Vaughn Gillen and Matt Pacheco (assist) found the net, while Andrew Fijal had one assist.

Ethan Rajpold made 23 saves for Belchertown.

Ely Boyle and Garren Fugiel scored for the Eagles (5-4-0, 1-2-0). Christopher Tenczar and Mike McColgan each had one assist.

Tyler Cortis made 21 saves in defeat.

The Orioles beat Southwick, 7-2, in a nonleague game at Amelia Park Arena, Sunday.

Belchertown is 7-1-1 overall, 4-0-1 in the Wright League.

Greenfield 4, Mount Everett 1 — Jacob Bryant, Kyle Barnes, Bryan Baumann and Sean O’Sullivan each scored as the Green Wave (4-0-2, 2-0-2 Wright) rolled, Saturday at Collins-Moylan Arena.

Doug Hanieski had two assists and Riley Drew made 12 saves.

Amherst Regional 6, Wahconah 3 — Chris Foster scored twice and had two assists as the Hurricanes (7-0, 3-0 Fay) skated away at Orr Rink, Saturday.

Nick Foster, Kouji Ishida (assist), Jayden Blackburn (assist) and Jared Cuting also scored. Gio Rivera, Eli Sloven and Evan Smith each had one assist.

Jon Hanscom made 23 saves in the win.

Boys basketball

Taconic 80, Amherst Regional 41 — Evan Perry has 12 points and C.J. Woodfine-Holmes added nine, but the Hurricanes (1-6) fell at home Saturday.

Monument Mountain 56, Hampshire Regional 47 — Justin Forest hit 4 3-pointers and finished with 28 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Raiders (1-6) fell on the road, Saturday. Dominik Lewinski added eight in defeat.

Nordic skiing

The Amherst Regional boys Nordic ski team placed fourth with 87 points in Saturday’s Berkshire Ski League race at Prospect Mountain in Woodford, Vermont.

The Hurricanes’ girls team finished sixth with 113 points.

Stella Wenczel had top finish for Amherst. She was 17th in 22 minutes, 30 seconds on the 5-kilometer course.

Mount Greylock and Lenox went first and second, respectively, in both races.
