Gilberto Cruz, 22, of 105L Southpoint Apartments, was arrested at 7:10 a.m. Thursday at his home on a warrant.
Tara Raitt, 44, of 256 North Pleasant St., and Jason McClary, 40, who provided an address as the streets of Amherst, were both arrested at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in front of the post office, 141 North Pleasant St., each on a warrant.
A man drumming on the sidewalk to entertain passersby in front of St. Brigid’s Church, 132 North Pleasant St., was advised at 2:12 p.m. Wednesday to move to a different location after disturbing meetings taking place in the church rectory.
A Lovefield Street resident reported at 7:31 p.m. Wednesday that the license plate on his motorcycle, which had been stored in a garage all winter, had been stolen.
Police responded to a dispute between two women who live in neighboring apartments on Hisgen Avenue at 6:59 p.m. Wednesday. One of the women reported that the other had sprayed a chemical out her window and believed that the spray had been intentionally directed at her.
Police responded to a possible break-in at an Oliver Street home reported at 2:31 p.m. Tuesday. Residents believe the house had been broken into because the door was open.
Police found that no items had been stolen and that the door was impossible to securely shut due to a large volume of trash and other debris obstructing it. Police referred the case to the city building inspector and health inspector due to the large amount of trash, dog feces and old food present in the house.
Stephen James Page, 21, of 46 Evergreen Road, Apt. 106, in Leeds, was arrested at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of vandalizing property/defacement of real or personal property. Page allegedly carved a word into the window of Hannoush Jewelers at 227 Main St.
Edwards Church staff reported at 5:07 p.m. Wednesday that a Black Lives Matter banner hanging outside the church had been taken down. However, no charges will be filed against the individual believed to be responsible.
Daniel Steven Lacourse, 54, who lists his address as the streets of Northampton, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of trespassing at Thornes Marketplace, 150 Main St., which has an active no-tresspass order against him.
A City Hall staffer called police at 11:49 a.m. Wednesday to report that a man who had caused a disturbance in the city clerk’s office kicked and damaged a sign in the hall as he left the building. The sign will cost an estimated $230 to replace.
Cameron C. Wassil, 18, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, was arrested at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday at Patterson dormitory on a warrant.
